General Demeanor is an autobiographical comic about being an adult (or at least trying to act like one), poor economic standing, mid-life crises at the age of 23, and trying to make it in a world where your English degree won't actually help you as much as you'd hoped. If you're a kid at heart, you're in the right place.

Jose is a graduate of Chapman University. He studied English with a concentration in literature, and spent most of his time in college studying, working, avoiding sleep, cracking jokes in class, and drawing. Jose maintains that he is not a robot, wears a lot of military surplus jackets, and started this blog after some friends convinced him that maybe he is kind of okay at drawing sometimes.
