Questions

1) Q-Where'd the title "General Demeanor" come from?
A-The title came from Google.  I just typed it in and found that "general demeanor" is the most overly-used phrase in internet writing.  I figured I would just take it and use it, since nobody would get mad.

2) Q-Do you use a Cintiq or Photoshop?
A-Nope.  I'm too poor to get a Cintiq, and I am still trying to learn Photoshop, so I just use cheap drawing paper (it's not newsprint), a lead pencil, some erasers I've collected over the years, and pens that I have lying around.  I usually have to borrow scanners, but I hope to one day own one.  Hey, you have to dream big.

3) Q-Why did you start General Demeanor?
A-People kept telling me to start a comic because they often caught me doodling in class.  They managed to convince me that I was okay at drawing, so after college, I started this website.

4) Q-Where did you go to school?
A-I went to Chapman University and studied English with a concentration in literature.  To this day, I'm amazed I was able to afford any of it.  So yeah, never formally studied art, and here I am, doin' a comic.

5) Q-Will you send me a drawing?
A-Probably.  If I ever get good enough at artsy things to start taking commissions, I'll do it.

6) Q-I have an idea for a comic!
A-That's not a question.  Also, no.  I know it sounds mean, but even though I'm really new at this whole "interwebs cartoonist guy" thing, I already find unsolicited ideas for comics a bit unnerving.  I have a whole pile of scripts I may never get to draw, and the pile of rejected scripts is at least twice as big as the ones I've got in the works.  Thanks, but I'm doing pretty well on my own.
